Overview
The Androokie 88mm Magnet Kit is designed for magnetic mounting of fixtures that utilize a 3/8-inch threaded yoke. Each magnet features an 88mm rubber-coated base with an integrated 3/8-inch male stud, providing increased surface contact for higher-load applications within the Astera ecosystem.
The kit includes lightweight 5/8-inch aluminum baby pins, allowing magnets to transition directly to standard grip hardware when magnetic mounting is not required. This makes the kit suitable for both direct-to-steel mounting and stand-based configurations.

Compatible Fixtures
Designed for use with fixtures featuring 3/8-inch threaded mounting points, including Astera AX3 LightDrop, PB15 Pixel Brick, AX5 Triple Par, AX9 PowerPar (application dependent), Quik Beam, Quik Spot, Quik Punch, and AX2 Pixel Bar 50/100 when mounting via the feet.
Usage Notes
Best used when stepping up from 1/4-inch magnet systems to 3/8-inch threaded yokes or when mounting heavier fixtures. The 88mm diameter increases magnetic surface area compared to smaller magnet sizes. Surface condition and orientation will affect holding performance.
Important Safety Note
When mounting fixtures overhead, a properly rated secondary safety (such as a safety cable) must always be used. Magnetic mounting hardware should never be the sole means of support in overhead applications.
