Astera Leo Fresnel (AST-AF250)

Overview

The Astera Leo Fresnel is a 250W RGBMA LED fixture designed to deliver output comparable to a 1000W tungsten Fresnel while offering the flexibility of internal battery or AC operation. The optical system combines a next-generation Fresnel lens with an integrated light pipe to produce an even beam with steep fall-off and no chromatic aberration.

The manual zoom range of 15-degree to 60-degree allows the fixture to function as a focused spotlight, controlled wash, or anything in between. For additional versatility, the Fresnel lens can be removed to operate the fixture in open-face mode with a wider beam and crisper shadow definition.

Usage Notes

The LeoFresnel supports internal battery operation for cable-free use and can be configured for extended runtimes using Seamless Runtime settings. For longer installations or full output operation, the fixture can be powered via AC or compatible external RuntimeExtender battery systems.

Battery priority can be set directly on the fixture display or through the Astera App, allowing the user to determine whether internal or external power is consumed first.

When mounting fixtures overhead, a properly rated secondary safety (such as a safety cable) must always be used.
