Overview
The Beam Softener 17° is a beam-modifying filter designed for the Astera Pixel Brick. It inserts directly into the fixture to soften the light output and create a more diffused beam.
By reducing the intensity of the direct beam while spreading the light slightly, the filter allows the Pixel Brick (also referred to as PixelBrick) to function as a compact soft light source. This can be useful in applications where a harder beam would produce unwanted shadows or hotspots.
The filter installs quickly into the front of the fixture and can be removed just as easily when a narrower beam is required.
