Overview
The Astera Pluto Fresnel is an 80W RGBMA LED fixture delivering output comparable to a 300W tungsten Fresnel. Designed for film, studio, and event lighting, it combines a compact form factor with internal battery operation and wired control.
The optical system pairs a next-generation Fresnel lens with an integrated light pipe to produce an even beam with steep fall-off and no chromatic aberration. Manual zoom ranges from 15-degree to 60-degree, allowing the fixture to function as a spotlight, controlled wash, or open-face source when the lens is removed.

Usage Notes
The PlutoFresnel can operate via internal battery, 24V DC power, or compatible external battery systems. The yoke is designed to accommodate a Runtime Extender for extended operation. When connected, external batteries can also charge the internal battery.
An optional projection lens (16-degree to 36-degree zoom with manual focus and four shutters) is available to convert the Pluto Fresnel into a profile-style fixture capable of accepting E-size gobos.
Important Safety Note
When mounting fixtures overhead, a properly rated secondary safety (such as a safety cable) must always be used.
