The GelHolder for Astera HydraPanel allows lighting technicians to attach custom gel, diffusion, silk, or spun materials directly to the front of the fixture. It uses the Hydra Panel’s magnetic modifier system for fast installation and removal.

The Gel Holder works by sandwiching the gel material between the HydraPanel and the holder frame. Magnets located in the corners of the fixture secure the holder in place, keeping the gel flat and properly aligned with the light output.
With a similar profile to the Diffusor Sheet modifier, the GelHolder provides a compact solution for adding custom diffusion or color gels while maintaining the Hydra Panel’s magnetic accessory workflow.
