This is the official replacement battery for the Astera AX3 LightDrop (MKII). It is a drop-in replacement, designed to restore full battery life and performance in fixtures showing signs of degradation or reduced runtime.

The AX3’s internal battery powers its 15W RGBW Cree LED engine for up to 20 hours on a single charge, depending on usage and brightness. This battery is engineered to match those specifications, ensuring consistent runtime and charging behavior across your fleet.

Notes:

• This battery is for the MKII version only. It is not compatible with original MKI fixtures.

If you plan to install this battery into an AX3 MKI LightDrop, please note the following:

• This battery is NOT drop-in compatible with MKI fixtures without a software modification.
• Installing it into an MKI unit without the required software update may damage the fixture or create a safety risk.
• This is not something we can preconfigure or modify at the battery level — MKI fixtures must be sent to us for in-house service and update.

• MKI units typically have silver magnets on the back.
• MKII units typically have black magnets.
