SoftFrame 100 for Astera HydraPanel – Magnetic Diffusion Frame (FP6-SF-100)
The SoftFrame (Soft Frame) 100 is a magnetic diffusion frame designed for the Astera HydraPanel. Unlike the low-profile DiffusorSheet (Diffusor Sheet), the SoftFrame introduces depth between the LEDs and the diffusion surface to produce softer shadows and a smoother beam.

The frame measures approximately 0.87-inch deep, creating space between the HydraPanel’s LED array and the diffusion surface. This added depth improves shadow softness and beam uniformity compared to flat diffusion panels.
The SoftFrame also serves as the mounting platform for additional beam-shaping accessories such as EggCrate (Egg Crate) grids, allowing lighting technicians to combine diffusion and spill control in a compact modifier stack.
